3.56 is patched when it comes to the jailbreak. Devs haven't made or figured out a work around (ps3 is old so I doubt they will make one)
Ps3s 3001a + are locked to 3.56 and above so we can't mod on them.. and for the most part the hardware got better and more efficient then the previous.Sony wanted to limit us on the consoles we can use

Ah, right. I think they should atleast try to find a way to jailbreak systems above 3.55. Then it would be easier for those above 3.55 and it would stop scams like PS3Portal.
