Post: Rebug help

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, I need some help here.
Jailbroken PS3 on Rebug 4.78.2 CEX.

How can I switch this to Rebug 4.78.2 D-Rex? I think I want DEX now...

I spent time searching and I was able to switch the kernel in Rebug toolbox but my CCAPI wouldn't work, and still wasn't able to sign into PSN.

This new 4.80 update is pissing me off lol.
Please Rebug release a new update soon.

Thanks everyone.

Well if you convert to DEX then you dont need a spoofer for 4.80 you can just sign in.

Ok so what and how would be the proper way to switch from CEX to DEX?

I know rebug has a D-REX CFW. But when I tried to switch it over via USB update it wouldn't work cause I'm currently on 4.78.2 but CEX CFW...

I'm so lost right now. Just need to be pointed in the right direction.
Thank you.

Then follow the How to switch from Cex to Dex part in this.

Oh that's crazy I never knew that....thank you so much.
I'll try that. And go reading some more....

So when I install a D-REX "on top" like ya say.
They I assume I'll have both CEX and DEX?
Also be able to switch the kernel then in Rebug tool box??

Sorry i had to edit, Its been a while since i swapped over to D-Rex, and you might not be able to install D-Rex ontop. Im sure you can though if not you will need to change your LV2 Kernal first.

In saying that yes, D-Rex is Dex and Cex together. But you can only be in 1 mode at a timne. So once you are on D-Rex you can switch back and forth to Dex / Cex mode as much as you want.

Anyways with the tutorial i showed you just go down to the " How to switch from CEX to DEX using Rebug CFW" part. Smile And follow those steps, And 1 thing to remember is always check if QA is enabled before doing anything

Ok just one more thing before I start this...
So you said change your LV2 kernel first. By this I'm gathering you mean switch it over to LV2 then update to 4.78.2 D-Rex?!?

Man thank you so much for helping me on this...
Would you happen to have KIK?
