(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright, so just got done converting to 4.78.2 D-REX and am now running full DEX. The first thing I am going to need to do to get online is to use CCAPI to spoof my CID, as the actual CID is banned. Now I originally had CCAPI 2.60 which I discovered is not compatible with Rebug 4.78.2, so I upgraded to CCAPI 2.70 which is supposedly compatible. When I tried to connect CCAPI 2.70 to my PS3, it will not connect no matter what I do. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is going on or perhaps another way I can spoof my CID to one of my private CIDs?...I really need to be able to do this to get online...otherwise, my console is literally nothing more than a brick...lol. Please help. Thanks in advance.

i think webman can change/restore your cid
there is a few other ways as well, ccapi isnt the only method, although it is one of the easiest

PSNPatch can spoof your CID. Going to the latest CFW isnt the best because it doesnt have the best support Since its quite new.

Yeah, I tried PSN Patch. But in order to do that your current CID can't be banned unless you want to insert a .cfg file via USB with a new ID into the system for PSN Patch to read. I actually found an easier way for the time being. I'l post it here how to change it in case anyone else runs into the problem, but it MUST be followed in the order I list, otherwise it will mess up. (You will need the latest version of Irisman). I suppose I'll list the full steps I use to get online with my game.

*before doing any of this, I disconnect my network connection just to be safe
1. Set the active PSID in Rebug toolbox to CEX(If you are on DEX you should already know how to do this, if not please look it up) *this step MUST be done first, otherwise syscalls will disable and you will not be able to mount your game from whatever file manager you are using.

2. Spoof your banned CID in Irisman. To do this, start Irisman>press start>select tools>select spoof console ID>Select change console ID>a text box will pop up allowing you to change the factory CID>once new CID is entered, press start....You have now changed the machine's CID.(This is also a good way to change a banned CID on a CEX system upon startup ie; not using CCAPI each time to set it)

3. Mount your game in whatever file manager you want to use ie: Multiman, Irisman, etc. (I use Irisman in this case since it's already open)

4. Use PSNinja's top three option*if you don't think PSNINJA is worth it, don't use it.

5. Highlight PSNPatch in XMB. Press and hold x until you hear the console beep once.

6. Enable network connection and sign into PSN

7. After you are finished playing go back into Irisman and follow the above steps to restore original CID under the same menu you changed it(this can be done as the last step, or the first step, just needs to be done BEFORE setting PSID in Rebug toolbox)
