TMAPI is the only way. You can RTM through TMAPI offline. CCAPI uses the internet so that will not work.

You'll have to use an Ethernet cable and TMAPI along with private IP addresses.

Thread moved to PS3 Mods Questions and Inquiries. By the way, has your question been answered? You have great solid answers.

Hey I'm gonna just correct you Kam you can use ccapi and tmapi without a internet connection. I have a network bridge on my computer and when my computer is not connected to internet I can still rtm with ccapi and tmapi when I'm playing offline games and not connected to a internet connection it makes a private IP etc as you would know and ccapi works that's the point Smile also you can still use a manual IP you had set up for your actual internet connection without it and use rtm tools/ftp no problem

I'm pretty sure you need an active connection to use CCAPI. That's how it connects. It connects over the internet.

When you have a network bridge you PC says it connected to internet but has no internet access and ccapi still works like that. I use it offline a lot cause my internet I off a lot due to data restrictions
I'll take a screenshot and link it to you if you want

And TMAPI without having your PS3 connected to the PC with ethernet cable?

Yep I can show you my network settings for went my internet is off if you want but first I'll have to remove bridge to see if its that or if it'd cause my IP is set manually on ps3 I think its cause I always have my Ethernet port and WiFi adapter bridged idk lol just works. But if your on Dex and have debug eboots you should use the tmapi as it runs faster

Interesting. I would love to see a tutorial for this. I'm on DEX (new to it) and I've been trying to find a way to use TMAPI over WiFi but all of them require you to have Ethernet cable connected from PC to PS3. The thing is that I use a modem connected to the PC and Connectify to then create a hotspot for the PS3. I just don't feel like buying a ethernet switch just for the hell of TMAPI lol.
