Just a quick question, one of the steps required for me to sign in on my DEX system, is to change the active PS3ID by Rebug Tool Box, I have to change it to EID5: 89 (CEX)

But this can be very time consuming and it is the longest process required.
Is there anyway for my system/RT to use EID5: 89 on startup?

I couldn't find anything online,
Thankyou in advance Upside Down Happy

Climbing up the ladder
go into webman setup ...change the IDPS to 89 ...tick both boxes to boot on start ....you dont have to worry about it again

I'm on DEX and i dont have to change my PS3ID. I dont use anything that auto sets it. I have no idea why.

My old system worked the same, not sure why but for most people CID is changed to 82 (DEX) and it needs to be changed back to 84 (CEX).

Shouldn't be 89 but 84. Try that instead as that's an option in toolbox. Or use Ccapi to set it on boot. That way it'll be permanent.

I thinking that's because you installed DEX again after you converted from CEX/REX to DEX. I converted from REX TO DEX and always have to change the EID to CEX but If I install DEX on top of the current DEX Firmware it should fix it. On another note, how do you guys on DEX get the bottom right corner showing your IP address?

I believe that's for ITA FW's and possibly 4.78? Not too sure on the Rebug.

Then it's probably only an ITA thing.

Correct, it's 84. You can do it via Ccapi and set it on boot. It's much easier.
