i have ps3 slim 2504b 1a with minimum fw 3.56,i tried do downgrade it and i forgot that i must not install 3.55 downgrader but i was stupid...i bricked console and i soldered those 2 points on motherboard to force it to stay on,i flashed original bios but there is no display or audio now,i cant get in recovery mode becouse when i press power button console turns on and if i keep holding it just turns off,and it is doing like that always when i try to acces recovery..can someone help me pls guys

Try to reset your video output with the button thingy. I believe you hold down the power button until you hear the second beep. Right before it boots off, let go and it should boot.

When i try that,on second beep it just turns off :/

Make sure you quote me back and then try holding until you hear one beep and let go.

i am trying but now when i press power button it turns off in 4-5 seconds and button light dissapear with no beeps or anything,if i press power button few times red light come back but if i press again to start it will shutdown again

no display/GLOD after a flash is a bad flash/bad write,etc 99% of the time


When you pulled a dump and went to patch it in flash tool, it should have warned you it was 3.56 and not downgradable or patchable or something iirc...

also, did you have a display before trying to install the downgrader? You most likely did not and this was a problem before you even would have made it to that point..

You sure you flashed the correct (good) backup and perhaps it is not good?

It's permabricked unless you can manage to flash a good backup to it.


Only things left would be the video settings(above posts) or a busted RSX chip but I can almost guarantee you it is your flash.

flash tool just warned me that i should patch dump with 4.xx patchset to install cfw on this machine,the console worked normaly before i installed rogero 3.55 downgrader after that it wont start becouse of that,and i soldered 2 points on MB to patch original bios and it just stayed on and without hdd activity,i replaced hdd and patched again without problems and now when i press start button i goes green for 4-5 seconds and light dissapear and console shudown without any worning,shoul i solder wire on MB again and try to flash again or maybe its power supply failing ?

You only need to solder the tristate to a ground if the console is not turning on. You don't need to if it has GLOD. You just simply flash a good backup and done.

I just don't understand how you wrote a patched 3.56 backup to the machine without receiving GLOD. Probably because you didn't restart the console right afterward and continued to install rogero..so in other words I think you had a problem before even trying to install it. If you would have wrote that backup to the machine and restarted it before intalling rogero, you would have seen the GLOD. I hope that makes sense.
