(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); when you transfer data to a ps3 will it transfer all the games and if so, would i be able to transfer my data to a cfw then transfer it back to my ofw without any issues, cause i don't wanna have to redownload all my games. i wanna ftp my games to pc to avoid having to redownload them and so i can get them on my cfws or just as a back up cause i don't have a external drive with 300GB's plus space.

I believe it doesn't backup all games, only psn versions and pkgs. If I were you I'd back them up on usb then PC.

Will I have to convert my cfw to cex and install 4.80 cfw? Cause it says I must be on latest firmware but in the 3.55 I think it transfered fine but that was not trying to send data to older ps3 firnware

I tried it while on Dex and it said no Ethernet cable connected so I'm gonna try in CEX cause I did what I said and checked the the cord after restarting console I'll work it out sooner or later thanks Smile once it cools down my noBD ps3 gets the ylod at 50+ degrees and have to wait for it to cool down issue is the right side of my board got to hot and is bent a little and if my ps3 is hot I have to put weight on it like I did temp test while using a fan mod the board is around 80 degrees and the RSX and CPU are around 40. None of my other ps3s boards get that hot but anyways console works good as long as I remember to use the fan mod if I don't I have to wait 5 mins to turn it on.

I had a console like that, tried to get it repaired and kept coming back. You're better off getting rid of that console. Anyways, you can't install a CEX CFW on DEX. You need to convert back first. Just let me know how it goes Smile

Its working now I just need to update to 4.80 cfw now. And this is not my main ps3 I'm using this one cause I don't care if I install OFW or something by accident on it cause its a easy fix though this it the ps3 with the rsod flash I have to fix every time I have to re do flash but its a easy fix once I have waited for the ps3 to cool down like 5 times. That's the reason its no bd I pit the drive in my old no bd ps3 cause this had heat issues and like you said with repair there's no point cause it will come back the board has been bent to much to fix that bending issue so best to just use a fan mod till one day it don't work then I'll probably just leave it with my ps3s for parts. If this dies be my second ps3 that got ylod I did fix my ylod for other ps3 but I didn't realize that some of the boards solder points where bridged so it needs a full reball and I can't be bothered fixing as its only a nor fat. Anyways thanks for you help I appreciate it Smile

Sure thing man! I went through 3 YLOD in a row, got 2 of the from Ebay and the other just gave out after several repairs. Never spent so much money lol
