I have a PS3 on CFW. Before it was Jailbroken i downloaded all of MY purchases from the PSN store. I made a backup of my PS3 ROOT Before AND After installing them.
e.g. - I made a backup when they were just PKG bubbles on the XMB. - I then installed them and made another backup. The files look like this with the Bubble Backup:
PKG Bubble - PS3 ROOT\dev-hdd0\vsh\game_pkg\8000000b\ (This folder contains: A PKG file/d0.pdb file/d1.pdb file/f0.pdb file/ and an ICON_FILE.

The installed backup has the game in the game folder (obviously)
I have The RIF files in the exdata folder along with an act.dat and an act1.dat file.
The DLC folder also has Zi8PD.dat, Zi8URLPD.dat, Zi8URLUWD.dat and a Zi8UWD.dat (i don't know what these are or even if they are relevant).

So here is my question:
How can i reinstall these files to my PS3 and have them work? My account has since been banned so i cant access psn to re download them. My ps3 got bricked with a bad pkg so i had to wipe it.
i have tried Merging the entire Root of the ps3 with the one i backed up (i thought this would work since its the same playstation)
I've Read somewhere that i need to convert the rif files to rap files and modify the act.dat...?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if there's any pros out there please help me out.
if i need to resign anything or mod the act.dat please tell me how or what to use or even point me in the right direction.

I don't know a solution to your issue and don't believe you'll find one. The best I can do is tell you just to pirate all your shit back.

i didn't think backing up ps3 would copy the rif files? but if you have them simply download rif2rap and get your consoles cid, and the .act for your account and you will be able to convert them to rap and from there you can ether use them in react psn or make EBOOT fixes and edat fixes which will require some tools etc you can find useful tutorials on youtube, if i understood correctly you have the pkg's ect still and installed version ,so if so i can help you get them on to your ps3 i've been making copies and fixes for my psn games for years,

thank you for the help, i have the rif2rap tool and the True ancestor tools but i dont know how to use them. so if i convert my rifs to raps with the act.dat, copy them to exdata and use reactpsn it should work?

is the act1.dat not needed?

i'm so annoyed, finally had all my games on one console then got bricked just for installing CCapi 2.50 .

You wont brick for installing any CCAPI homebrew.

i got bricked once installing something that was not a firmware i forget what it was tbh but wasn't good i actually think it was ccapi or maybe it was ccapi that messed up and told me to reinstall my cfw and put me in a loop till i did. i forget it was at start of year to long ago for me to remember. but the ccapi issues are a really rare thing
