Then I used a 3.55 Dex OFW to downgrade and then installed 4.78 Rebug Dex and that's when I went to system settings to make sure autoupdate was turned off but the whole option was missing. I also realized ccapi didn't work on 4.78 so I downgraded again and installed 4.75.3 Rebug Dex but the option is still missing. Is it fine if the autoupdate option is missing or is there something I can/have to do to get it back? I just don't want it to update and lose my jailbreak lol

It is weird for it not to show up, but if you are DEX you shouldn't have to worry about it, It shouldn't ask to update. You don't even need to spoof your firmware.
