Reason I prefer the site is because they give you a good warranty. When eBay sellers don't always.

depends where you live, for Example if you were in Australia and lived in CQ i could sell you one from 20-200 depending on what it cost to service and buy, though ones that cost 20 will have been repair so ones that i have to repair will have warranty for 2 year as they are likely to die within the first 6 months to heat issues, but with them i normally do custom cases and stuff and am willing to repair as long as you pay for postage or drop them off, thats the price of going cheep though gotta expect that risk, as for consoles 100 up they are likely to last many years but only have 3 month warranty, anyway i would recommend trying to get a good price on a 3.55 console from ebay though if you not local or from a trusted seller from your country, or or you could buy some thermal paste and a flasher and do it yourself though you will need some tools and to be careful, watch a video tut on you model console before ever attempting your self. also a lot of sellers don't give backups of bins and useful files on a usb so some sellers are not to good when it comes helping you unbrick your console if you stuff it as they don't keep files, i always keep the files and give them their own set in case of a brick or them installing ofw stupid things like that. saves a lot of messing around.

I bought my 3.55 on Amazon for around 175-210$ Then, you can jailbreak it yourself. The guys was called Michael's Parts and Electronics. eBay, is another website you can buy CFWs, just make sure you don't get scammed sir.

I'd go with your local classifieds first. Something local is better in the event that something goes wrong. Sending a console back halfway across the world isn't cheap. Consider the cost of having to ship it back, particularly if you purchase through eBay, as sellers have no obligation to cover the cost of returning an item. It's also a good idea to watch and hear the console running prior to purchase. Many consoles have intermittent fan and/or graphic issues.

Where are you? I'll let you know if I find something. You may be lucky enough to find someone local on these forums. eBay should have something, surely? Just shoot the seller a message to confirm their location.

If you want your ps3 to last for long time then it would be good to find one brand new like a slim or fat on FW 3.55 or lower then jb, that what i did, but a used one don't hurt aswell but u take a risk, if you going to buy one used i would get a slim not a fat as fats could be old as poop and ylod any time imo
