Do a barrel roll!
Delete all of your messages, rebuild your database, clean out your PS3 from dust if you haven't

Try booting your ps3 into recovery and selecting option(s) "restore file system" and/or "rebuild database"

Let us know if it helps.

From my knowledge, if you're on a CFW, if you're going to Restore System File. You have to make sure your on a 3.55 OFW or a 3.55 CFW. That's what I heard of all these years, but i'd take my word on Dro since he is a great guy to solve solutions here on the PS3 Forums.

Those options Dro listed won't delete your CFW they just fix any errors in the file system and database that could potentially be slowing your system down. Dr'o's VERY knowledgeable when it comes to stuff like this, hell i've seen him work wonders with the PS3 so anything he says i trust Smile

lol yep Dro could probably fix it with a paper clip and some chewing gum.

I think all that will happen is that you'll lose some messages and playlist information but that's not a big deal.
