If you're on DEX you won't need a spoofer to get online. If you're on CEX you'll need to install and run this spoofer .pkg file to get online: You must login or register to view this content.

Never update through Sony. If that pops up, cancel out. Like Jesse said, on DEX you shouldn't have problem signing in if you're on 4.70+, but CEX will require spoofer. Try his method or Senenabler.
