If u feel up to the task I would take the ps3 apart and clean it. And if u know a fair bit about computers I would go run down to a computer store n buy thermal paste.If u haven't taken the ps3 apart b4 n changed the thermal paste. I would as the Shit Sony uses is garbage

Make sure you quote us back so we see you replied. If it's YLOD there's no point in repairing it as it'll always come back, just a temp. fix. Might as well get another system, now if it's just bricked then it would need to be reflashed.
