I have a cfw ps3 without the bluray drive, and i have my friends ofw without bluray drive as well ( both broken ) could i make a bypass bd ect cfw ( if you know what that it, such as ferrox no cfw ) install it on my ps3 with my hdd then put in in his, and after ( because i downgraded nor chip and set my thing to 2.70 ofw) do the same to mine and we would both be able to play?

If you need to bypass the bluray drive on a cfw, I can help with that.. If you are asking if you can install any type of cfw onto an ofw, no that is impossible.

Also, installing a hdd into another ps3 will force a mandatory format of the hdd before you can use it.
