I wanted to play some of my ps2 games also and tried a youtube vid I saw and it didnt work and now have only 14G available. I want to upgrade my HDD to 500G and want to know if it can be done. I have 2 HDD off my laptops that I upgraded and was wondering if I could us these or need to get a special one. I have a Hitachi 500G 5400rpm and a WD Scorpio blue 500G 5400rpm could I use these? How do I upgrade a HDD on a jailbroken ps3 with out screwing it up. Im a noobie when it comes to jailbroken ps3 or ps3 mods or repair. Im running V4.78 rebug 04.80.00 fw 4.75 [sc-35lPL3] cobra 7.20 compatible. I have easeus partition master that I used to upgrade my laptop will that work? Can someone help me out and tell me how to it.

You shouldn't be missing that much space from like 3 games. You must have hidden files and such, if you'd like I can check and make more room. But if you do change HDD it's very easy. All you do is unscrew like one screw at the bottom. Just look up a video on it, very simple. All you'll need to do is restore the HDD and reinstall FW.
