I noticed when i installed a game onto my hard drive on multiman when i tried to play the copied game the screen would go black and nothing would happen,But if i play the game directly off the disk it works? I also put it back on REBUG 4.78 D-REX. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

does it bring you back to the xmb but no loaded game? have you tried bd mirroring it?

Set debug settings to:

Np Environment: Np
Release Check Mode : Development Mode
Boot Mode : System Software Mode
Network Settings : Single Settings


some games require Boot Mode to be in Release Mode..idk you could try to mess around with that.


Or your game could be corrupt or not properly(or fully) installed to your ps3...

I checked the game and it had a few things that were red so I'm installing a new game to the harddrive to see if it's the game or the console

That's not the issue. It's either the eboot or bd mirror. When loading the game in mm, press square while hovering over game, then enviable bd mirror and internal in small box on bottom left. It should work after that. Also, make sure you quote us back.

Nah I didn't touch the eboot and I made sure the bd mirror and the internal HDD boxes were on

What game is it? What CFW are you on?

I have tried black ops 2 and grand theft auto, it was on ITA DEX but now it's on REBUG 4.78 D-REX
