I have no idea how to do this, and I cant find any videos showing me how to do it.

and can I run Game IOS/ISO (or how I spell it) on External HDD.

In Multiman hover over the game and hit Triangle then select Copy then select your External HDD. Your External HDD will have to be formatted to FAT32 in order for the PS3 to read it and you'll need a folder on it called GAMES.
