(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So I haven't had any luck with CCAPI since switching to DEX as of yet(have another open thread in which I am trying to work on that), but I am considering taking the plunge and attempting TMAPI. I have found a tut on a different website for doing so, was just wondering if anyone can confirm if this will work or not since a.)it is from a different site and b.) there are no responses in that tut to determine whether it worked or not, and c.) it is an old post on said site. Now, since it is a different site, I will not post a link, but I will copy paste the text(hope thats allowed, if not, let me know, I'll remove the post) and credit the original poster on that site. Please let me know if this will work, and if there is anything else I will need to do to make this work( I had read somewhere that I will need to adjust some of my debug settings on the PS3 and don't know if this is still needed with a wireless connection). Obviously I need a Debug eboot for whatever game I'm using, this I already know. Ok, so, like I said, post is from a different site, and credits go to "Tekuh" on that site.

*PS-Where in the HELL do I download TMAPI from :S
=================================================================================================================================================

"Ok so I had a lot of trouble using TMAPI and setting it up when I first started RTM. So I'm going to make a tutorial on how to do it for those who are also struggling.

*I am only showing you ONE method of how to do this. This method does NOT require a wired connection to your router/modem.

Benefits TMAPI has over CCAPI: NO LAG

What You Need:
-Ethernet Cable
-PC (wireless internet connection)
-Jailbroken PS3 on DEX
-Brain

1. Connect PS3 to PC via Ethernet Cable.
(leave PS3 turned off)

2. On PC, right click on your wifi and click "Open Network and Sharing Center"

3. Now click "Change adapter settings"

4. Now what you want to do is select your PS3's internet and your computers internet and right click on them and bridge the connections.

5. Once thats done right click on the network bridge and go to properties.

6. Then double-click on "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"

7. Now go to the alternate configuration tab.

8. Then select user configured.

9. Now heres the tricky part. Under IP address you want to put your routers IP address but change the last number to any # 1-60. For example: My routers IP address is: 10.0.0.1 but I put 10.0.0.45 in the IP slot. Now under subnet mask when you click on it, it should automatically enter your subnet mask. Then for default gateway put your default router's IP address. Now for your preferred DNS server you want to put 8.8.8.8 and alternate 8.8.4.4 Now click OK and your internet should disconnect then reconnect. Now on to the PS3.

10. On your PS3, go to your network settings then internet connection settings. Then select custom>Wired Connection>Auto-Detect>Manual and now you want to enter the EXACT same settings you just set on your computer. Then Automatic>Awesome faceo Not Use>Awesome faceisable. Now when you do the connection test it will most likely fail so turn your PS3 off then on and you should be good.

11. Now you want to go back to your PC and open up target manager. Then you want to search for targets. Now the IP from and to you want to play around with because for me I didn't have to change them and my PS3 still came up. Now when your PS3 comes up right click on it and select move to group then add to debugger. Now it should put your PS3 under a folder called Debugging Station. Now make sure your PS3 is on the XMB screen then on target manager right click on your ps3 and click connect. Your PS3 should connect successfully.

12. Now all you need is a debug EBOOT for your game and a RTM tool/menu and you should be good to go

I hoped this tutorial helped setup your PS3 for RTM without any troubles...."

You'll have to Google Debugger and target manager, as we can not give it out here.

Are your debug settings correct for dex? You have to have specific settings on dex even for ccapi I believe.

Got ya. that would explain why I haven't seen any downloads for it. Any particular reason might I ask? I think I know why, but I'm not quite sure. Is it because the creator is associated with another site, and therefore it is as well?

Got ya. I saw somewhere that there were specific debug settings which I should have no problem finding again. I just wasn't sure if this still had to be done owing to the fact of I am going to be doing it wirelessly, so wasn't sure if it still had to be done. And I wasn't aware there had to be different debug settings for CCAPI...that may explain why I'm having problems in that regard. I'll have to research that a bit more.

Because they're developed by Sony, and would be considered warez on here.

Release Check Mode > Development Mode
Boot Mode > System Software Mode
Network Settings for Debug > Single Setting

Ccapi shouldn't need those exact settings, they should be able to work in Release mode or dual settings. But it's always better to have them at what they should be.

Wireless TMAPI needs Dual. But still doesn't work very well, I don't think it attaches tools.

I can tell you I have been messing around with this for two days, and yes, it will allow you to connect. It is a shitty, unreliable connection, however. If you have the option to use LAN cable to your main router, do so.

1. LAN cable to router from PC
2. LAN cable to router from PS3
3. Change settings on PC and PS3 to automatically detect network config, instead of trying to physically assign IP for the PS3 as shown in your post

This will automatically set everything for you. Now use target manager and search for targets. It will find your PS3, right click on it and select debugging console. Wait for it to refresh then click connect. (f7)
