My son wants to play GTA V online.It's installed on the internal hard drive.His console is on the latest Ferrox 4.80 cfw.

Any recommendations for online play without a ban risk.

Should he go down the legit route and update his 60gb fat and play GTA from an original disc?

It doesn't really matter if his game is on his internal hard drive....as long he not being a dick on GTA Online and start blowing people up he shoud be fine....

So would he be relatively safe with PSninja and Psn patch to play online?

from my experience of playing the best thing to do is get on a dex firmware preferably 4.65 ita(for this you will need to convert your console Dex you can follow tutorial here: You must login or register to view this content.) when your online on gta 5 just dont troll too much to the point where other will want to report you and use paid sprx mod menu, ive never been banned using any one of them btw there are a couple free good ones... hope this helps a little

You can install an app called PSNinja and I just click the top 3 options which wipe your history of being on any homebrew so PSN ca't see that you have been there and it looks all legit to them.

Playing games internally doesn't really matter, but there is no way to not get banned. It will happen no matter what, all you can do is take precautions. So yes not being a dick and getting yourself attention will help, but messing with stats or just being on CFW there is risk. At worst you get another CID or account :p

Spoof console ID, this can be done with CCAPI, WebMan or PSNPatch, and wipe history using PSNinja

Modding 2 years only ever bought 1 cid and that was from a power outage and my ps3 had to be formatted . Only ever used psn patch, iv got ninja but never use it. Think the ps4 helps take the attention away from us modders nowadays
