how do i get mod menus for gta5 also?

You can't just download a Custom Firmware and install it. You'll need to purchase a device called an E3 Flasher to downgrade the PS3 to 3.55 OFW in order to jailbreak it from there. You can get one from eBay and they run about $50-$75.

Ok well no jailbreak then do I just go to system settings backup utility restore and select USB with the mod menus on it. Do I put that file on the root of the USB? What are the best free mod menus?
I really only care about car spawn, car mods performance and everything (biggest priority) ,money drops and give myself money and level up to bout 500 and weapons teleport be nice too.

Oh also how do I find what version gta5 I'm on? 1.26 or whatnot. Or does that matter since you have to reinstall gta5 after the backup utility?

Gta5 if u are playing online now u would be on 1.26. Now I don't mean to crush ur hopes and dreams I just want to tell u the truth about usb modding.

It isn't safe at all.. their is no way to hide your console or anything of the mods you are using. Jailbroken consoles can use a thing called anti ban which bypasses security to make it safe. You on a regular system run the risk of getting both your account banned or your ps3 or both banned. Which I'f your system is permanently banned from psn u will have to downgrade it and jailbreak your console in order to get back online. Also those mods u can't play online with your friends or in public sessions. You need a jailbroken console to do that

U could do it ya but u run the risk. But if u do it fast enough then delete the back up then go back online it should hopefully be safe. Ur better off to just not even try it but it's your choice. If u need help I mod so I could drop money do ur cars etc if u need it.
