Post: rsx about 7 degress hotter than cpu?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); my rsx is sometimes usually 5-7 degrees hotter than my cpu. Example: CPU: 56, RSX: 61. Any one know why and how to fix?
I also replaced the thermal paste with mx-2 when downgrading.

I recommend you only use Arctic Silver 5, for ps3s anyways..

You can also try bending the clamps for a better connection between the chips and the heatsinks.

Although, those temps are good if that is captured after warmup...I think you will usually see the GPU put out more, Perhaps it is safe to say it takes more power to run the graphics than it does to run the console.

could aways turn up the fan speed to cool down both of them

i have but the rsx is still 5 degress hotter.
