Make a get the flash of a 3.56+ console, then jump on a cfw and use a modified psn game that tricks console to dump eid root key, make a modified ofw update that assist with that. then data transfer to ofw then active the game for ps3 system and disconnect internet connection, then lunch the modified game and the ps3 reboots and the key will be on usb, after that you dex convert the dump on pc with some special dex convertor and make a fixed dex ofw that will not brick that console, dump the modified dump the system and in theory if can manage to somehow trick system to do that, it will be a dex ofw with some missing features, but if that can be done then it will become possible to jailbreak 3.56+ consoles in theory

a lot of research on the firmware's would need to be done for any hope of success, on my part as i don't know much about this but i know cfw can be installed on dev unit so worth a shot

i think this day and age if people really want cfw they will just go buy one, if not then they don't really care or to even bother :p

i know its easy to just downgrade one and there cheap as shit now but i like my cech3002 more than my other ps3's and with a lot of old systems dying etc would be useful if could use any ps3 much rather then fixing a old ps3 or having to order another system if you didn't have downgradeable unit laying around

find a web browser exploit, it is possible and prob would be the easiest to do

so like the ps4 exploit?, getting a dump of eid root key is essential for my theory to have a chance, and making it convert and use a fixed dex ofw to avoid brick maybe even get start to a cfw, its not impossible just a pain in the bum without the right knowledge of the system, biggest issue with this idea is bricking and getting it right, i don't think i'll be able to get the EID root KEy to convert the nor or its the nor will be compatible with current tools which would create another challenge for someone with little knowledge of this such as myself, wouldn't have a clue how to get started learning this as can't just learn it over night or without any help unless you're a guinness lol i'm sure not.

i thought about it some more and i am gonna have to see if it can be done on a cech20XXX first as i already have EID root key, if it fails though theres nothing that can be done, i'll just use my original ofw back up that will be suitable for test, but im 400% sure the file needs to be patched in order to work
