Post: Need Help - CCAPI for 4.80 Rebug CFW

Sadly I have never made a thread on NGU so I apologise if this one isn't in the correct part of the forums, feel free to move it moderators.
Anyways, I have a jailbroken PS3 - so if you don't then I doubt you'd be able to help me. A recent CFW called "4.80 Rebug" was released and I updated my PS3 to it. Sadly my CCAPI stopped working so I am unable to connect to my PS3 using my computer. I'm looking for a CCAPI that works for 4.80 Rebug and I'd highly appreciate it if someone had the link to one. Yes, I could go and setup a TMAPI/DEX connection instead but I've watched YouTube tutorials and none of them have worked so unless someone can help me with that as well them I'm stuck in a bit of a pickle.
If you have a Jailbroken PS3 as of now then I suggest you stay on an older CFW until further notice so you don't end up in the same sticky situation as me. I heard Enstone is working on updating the CCAPI when he gets time, but that could take ages yet and I'm looking to resolve my problem now.

UPDATE: I have resolved the issue by downgrading my PS3 back to 4.78 Rebug which I didn't know I could do. If you was having the same issue as me then please downgrade your CFW. If you have any questions then send me a direct message for a quicker response.

Why update to the latest cfw when its going to have 0 support for anything since its new? I never understood that.
If you are on a good firmware and everything works fine why go to the latest cfw where nothing is going to work?

The CFW has been out for a while now so I would of thought it everything was updated for it, sadly not. The 4.80 Rebug is a lot more stable and has more options for your PS3 which I find useful & I also updated because I wanted to download things of my account instead of wasting more time getting pkg files and fixes... 4.78 had freezing console issues as well etc. - I guess this was a game of Russian Roulette lol.

I've been on 4.75.1 Rebug for like 8 Months and havent touched it lol everything works i dont want to fuck something up or go to a different firmware and have shit not work like you did. Im good on 4.75 lol

i dont believe ccapi is supported by the the lastest rebug cfw, so just go back the like 4.78 rebug and spoof it to 4.80 and you should be fine.

I see you solved your CCAPI problem, to let you know there is no CCAPI for 4.80 as of now which was your issue. Also, as far as your TMAPI issue perhaps try this tut:
