(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU. so this morning I got up and was about to play GTA 5, but when I try to boot it up I get a "error 80010009" and won't start up. Any way I can fix this? also another question. lately my ps3 has been freezing constantly when I try to start a game, when I'm in a game, and sometimes it won't even start up. when it freezes a lot of colors show up on the screen and then a blank screen. does it every 5 min or so. any ideas?

I've been thinking of restoring the ps3 itself from recovery menu but I'm afraid I'm going to lose everything including the jail break. any help or suggestions would be useful. thanks guys!

If your GTA5 is BLES you can try this launch fix eboot for the latest update You must login or register to view this content.

Your console may be overheating and need the thermal paste replaced.. What are your temperatures?
Are you playing from a disc? It could also be a sign of a failing bluray drive laser, or if not you could have a corrupt game(in whatever way that may be)

Is it only freezing when launching games/playing games, or is it freezing upon startup and just while running the console at any time? Determine if it is the console or the game at fault.

Haxor!
my ps3 would freeze just like yours with random freeze either on start up or a few minutes into a game and then colors (usually green stripes) would appear. I found that my gpu was bad due to overheat. Dro is right on track with temps. if u can put new thermal grease in then you may be able to save it (also a fan mod isn't a bad idea). in my experience when it freezes with colors before it has a chance to get hot it may already be too late and your gpu might be bad.
