Post: I tried downgrading ps3 with e3 flasher and now have RROD

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I tried seeing how to get it because I have a dumps working and all and I ended up getting to point where you go into recovery mode to put downgraded rogero on and it kept when I press start and select going into checking please wait and stuck there so I had to keep unplugging power supply and at one point it just turned off and now when I click to turn on console it beeps 3 times and all is red and keeps blinking when I click it again it goes solid and repeats the pattern. If anyone has a solution to this please help me. I'd really appreciate it alot

You could have shorted the unit...that would be fatal unless you can find the popped component and solder a new one to it..

The console could have overheated..It may need a reflow, a reball, or to be replaced..

You could have written a bad flash and this is the most likely..You can try to flash a good backup (if you have one) to the console
If the console will not boot and instead gives you YLOD, then you have flashed a bad backup. You will need to solder a wire from the tristate to a ground in order to keep the console running enough for you to flash a good backup to it. e3 flasher fun flash mode switch up, the rest down.

non specific..speaker wire..any thin electrical wiring will do..

Tristate will be on the bottom of the board. then you can put the end into the ground of the fan plug or solder it to any ground on the board.
