Download the samsung_update.bin for e3 flasher. This will allow you to flash multiple consoles and you only need to do it once. (Edit: i think You must login or register to view this content. this is it sorry if its not may have mixed my files. alternatively you can find it online. It will just not let you take backups if so but im pretty sure its the right one)

2. Rename the file to "update.bin" (no quotes) -
3. put the "update.bin" file onto the root of a Fat32 formatted mini sd card
4. Install the e3 flasher to the ps3
5. E3 flasher first two switches down, last 4 switches up
4. Turn on the console
The lights will illuminate
5. Give it some time and turn off the console
The "update.bin" should no longer be on the mini sd card
6. Reset the switches of the e3 flasher, all down except backup(3rd switch up the rest down) to prepare to take backups
When you power the console, the blue lights should dance left and right to let you know it is ready.
