just change your boot id

Try resetting your original CID then set your new BOOT CID using CCAPI.

yep tried that as one of the first things but still no luck

Hmm that's interesting. It's actually the first i've ever heard of a CID not saving despite having used multiple methods to save it. I'm not sure what to do here, Maybe try reinstalling your CFW as maybe it's your FW that's the issue?

i have downgraded using the 3.55 dex downgrader and tried installing another 7 different dex firmawares, a few rebug and a few ITA, but the problem still persists, no idea what to do as i cannot find anything about this online

Try using IDPS Set. It's only compatible on certain CFW which I believe are 4.65-4.75.
