What errors do you get? Be specific.

Can I get a picture of this error? Does this happen with every game? What CFW are you on? When did this issue start?

I'm not saying this is the way to go, your problem may just be something like debug settings not set or poor installation, etc, bad or corrupted copies of the game(s)..

but to answer your question, if you would like a clean install, this is how you can reformat the hdd:

1. Boot the ps3 into recovery mode
2. Select option "restore ps3 system"
this will wipe everything, games, saves, accounts, etc
when it is finished you will be brought to a black screen, asking for your last syscall(last fw installed)
3. Reinstall your cfw or a cfw of your choice
