(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); A while ago was trying to e3 flash my PS3 slim to 3.55 and got to last step and it went blank... I left it in closet and got it back out after a couple months, now it plugs in and turns on but when it's on I can't turn it off and the screen is blank... Can I still flash it to jailbreak? And what is wrong?

Most likely you flashed a bad backup to the console and it now has GLOD..

It is fixable by flashing a good backup to the console (if you have one..)

Yes I have GLOD... But no dump, so I'm thinking I'm permabricked, it makes back ups but gets 11 out of 39 everytime wirh bootldr and hash failing everytime....

Should I try soldering the Tristate to the mobo or is it done for?

GLOD is pre-YLOD. Even if repaired it'll come back as there's no permanent fix. You're better off selling that system for parts and getting another.

Soldering the tristate to a ground is only for if the console is no longer powering on after a flash(bad backup). You do this to keep the console powered enough to flash a good backup. But unfortunately if you do not have one, the console is permabricked..

You can try to search the net for methods of repairing a current backup..but yea man I wouldn't get your hopes up :/

or, if you got skills, you can replace a good known working NOR chip to the motherboard..

good luck!
