Or Sony doesn't detect webman mod at all? I want to use fan control and as soon as I unload webman I hear the fan going back to normal and I want my ps3 to last without going into ylod so I was wondering if I can leave it loaded and sign in to psn without worries .

P.S. right now I'm using Irishman payload fan control but I hate going in the app Everytime I turn on ps3

webMan is where you mount your games, but of course its best if you sign out and disable your internet connection then you can use your homebrew apps safely. But I know what your trying to do which i done that before there is no way you can get away with getting banned xD I had my console ID for months until one day i got banned which was 2 weeks ago even though I safely come online and load my games offline.

I know but what I'm trying to say is if I can leave webman loaded just to use the fan control.not load games or anything ,just have it loaded for the fan control.

Webman is active FTP, so there could be some risk there.



You'll get banned no matter what. Disabling sys calls doesn't do much as games can still detect if you are on CFW. I find it useless. But you don't need to use Webman, although I've wondered that myself. I don't believe they can detect active FTP connections, but maybe if you file transfer while signed in. I recommend you clear web history on PS3 when using Webman.

Ok so what fan control utility do you recommend to keep ps3 cool and is psn sort of safe or which fan control utility is the safest and activates on boot? Thanks

Depends on your CFW, I just use Webman but some I know are Sonic Game Manager, ITA Manager, Control Fan Utility.

im on rebug dex 4.70. i wanna use webman´s but idk if i can log in to psn with it loaded without getting banned or anything

Yeah you have to load it every time unfortunately but it's worth it in my opinion.
