(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Okay so i wanted to rte Lost Planet 2 and i got my eboot and made it a debug eboot then i ftpd it to my ps3 in the right folder and then i went to start the game and it black screens. I couldn't figure out why so then i replaced the debug eboot i made with the original eboot it had that is completely un touched and it black screens. So i delete the patch in game data and start it up. Black screens. So then i go into multiman and i update the game that way and try to play again. Then it still black screens.

Was the game ever working? May just be a bad copy or corrupted in whatever way that may be, eboot, etc..

Try going to debug settings and messing with "Boot Mode" option:
change release mode to system software mode , or vice versa.
If you are running debug settings for RTE it may be a game that you cannot mod that way..

It was working 100% i played for hours but i wanted to rte on it to see what i could do in the game modding wise and after i replaced the eboot it started black screening and stopped working. Also this game is my actual disk so its not torrented or anything just the actual disk. I did figure that the release mode might work because i have had an issue with that before but i changed it back to release mode and it still doesn't work after. I have no clue why it stopped working. All i did was make a new eboot for it then i replaced it back to the original and it still won't work.

Well you said it worked at one point with original files, meaning a reinstall of the update should fix. It doesn't make sense, something you aren't telling us.

I did just fix it though. I tried putting my boot mode in release mode but i never changed release mode. But what is weird is i was on development mode before and the game still worked and now it doesn't. How am i going to be able to rte? :/

if it won't run with the necessary debug settings then im not sure...its like that for some games..

I use these settings for debugging

Release Check Mode : Development Mode
Boot Mode : System Software Mode
Network Settings : Single Settings

but yea some games are like that..maybe you can do manual hex modding/eboot modding..

that's exactly what i did lol. That's what I don't understand. It only works on release mode and I don't think you can even rte on release mode. It was working on development mode fine before I made a debug eboot. I was able to play on development mode and now it blackscreens every time i try to play while in development mode.

So there is no way to mod this game then? lol

You can't use TMAPI on release but can still rte with CCAPI. Did you toggle anything in toolbox? What system mode and cobra mode set to?

I'm on release mode and idk about cobra mode but im on ITA
