1 × POWER CABLE
CFW and SOFTWARES:
- REBUG v4.78.1 DEX
- Spoofer 4.80
- Multiman 4.78
- Webman mod (fan speed set to 35%, best temperature setting)
- REBUG TOOLBOX
- PS NINJA
- PSN PATCH
- CCAPI
Quick questions.
1. Do I need a computer to use this (menus have been pre installed for me for gta and bops)
2.how do I run as a disc instead of a game installed on a hard drive?
All tutorials seem to be way to in depth instead of.
Turn ps3
Open this. Do that. Insert disc. Go online and enjoy etc can someone pretend I actually am retarded and explain that way ? Instead of install this open that inject this and connect to that
Much thanks to anyone.
Yours sincerely.

welcome to the modding scene.
1. you will sooner or later need a computer. whether its to use an rtm/rpc tool for a game
(an rtm/rpc toolis a program u can use to enable cheats, and edit stats and other things depending on the game. by connecting the program to your ps3.. you will need CCAPI installed on your ps3 and pc in order to connect a tool. you would need CCAPi v2.70 installed on your comput, or whatever is compatibe for 4.78.1 firmware)
or
you can use your computer to connect to your ps3 and using a program like filezilla, edit files on your hard drive <- this is one way to add mods to your game.
usually when you want to add a new menu or just change an eboot you will have to either use your computer. or in multiman use file manager. but the multiman method u need a usb with the mods on it so you can copy them over.
now
lets say you are going to install a paid gta5 menu Serendipity when you buy the menu and download the files they would look like this
Serenv2.sprx
serenv2.sprx <-- recovery menu.
EBOOT.BIN
Serendipity.txt
one of the spr files and the eboot and txt file need to be put on your hdd in order to use it..
using some sort of file managment method. when you first connect or load it up you would see all these different things
Dev_Flash
Dev_hdd0
Dev_usb0000
etc
go to Dev_hdd0. from their scroll down and look for a tmp Folder select that.
now this is where any sprx file. cfg file, ini file. txt file and any folder that the menu uses will go here so you would put in
serenv2.sprx and serendipity.txt. in the Dev_hdd0/tmp
now after thats done
go back outside of the tmp folder, then look for a folder called game. <-- this is where you will find your game region and replace the stock eboot.bin and any other file needed so that the menus load or so u at least have anti ban or some protection.. (NEVER TOUCH dev_hdd0/GAMES, this is the basic installation of the game you dont need to change anything here unless your converting the game region.)
so dev_hdd0/game/
need to find your game region (if your unsure go into multiman and press square over the game)
which is BLES01807 ( this is the gta5 region of europe. this version has the most mod support,)
now select that folder and look for a USRDIR folder
dev_hdd0/game/BLES01807/USRDIR <-- inside here is where you will put an Eboot.bin and if you choose to use one a modded update.rpf for gta5. a update.rpf is a mod manager.
so recap.
dev_hddo/tmp
serenv2.sprx and serendipity.txt
then
dev_hddo/game/BLES01807/USRDIR
replace EBOOT.BIN with a modded one that may have came with the menu.
and if nessicary the update.rpf <- which again is a mod manager
after that you have successfully added a menu to gta.
please note you can only use one .Sprx at a time
its pretty much the same for other games. you just need to know the region b4 u change anything.
2) i would just play the games from the hdd. as they have to be running internally if you want to use a mod menu.
in gta5s case you would probably be on Bles. which has more mod support so if you stick a game disc that doesnt match that region you wont load any mods. so like if you have the american gta5 (BLUS)
the ps3 will install the Blus updates and you will have to go through the 8gb install again
so in general i would just leave the games that came installed on the ps3 to only be played from the hdd. any other game tho you could play off the disc. just again gta5 an black ops i would play from hard drive.
so in a nutshell thats the basics. hope this helped
