Post: PS3 Rebug 4.78.2 D-Rex stuck in recovery mode (No Update Files Found)

my HDD broke so i had to swap it out, but now i can't reinstall my CFW. The PS3 is not able to find the update, i let it search for around an hour, but then it said no update found. I was on Rebug 4.78.2 D-Rex before. I tried to install Rebug 4.78.1 D-Rex, 4.78.2 D-Rex, 4.80 D-Rex and 999 Dex downgrader, but had no luck yet. Btw I have an E3 Flasher so i thought about installing an OFW and downgrade again, but i am not sure if it would brick my console or not.
I hope someone can help me

I suggest that you Restore PS3 System in safe mode.
