Then you cant jailbreak just by downloading a file you would need to use a E3 flasher to downgrade to 3.55 ofw, if your ps3 is downgradable.

Really? My PS3 is a Slim. I thought you didn't have to downgrade to jailbrake

If you're on any official firmware above 3.55 you have to downgrade using a E3 flasher or a similair device.
