Haha Like I said before.. I dont know alot about computer stuff haha I mean, I have Filezilla installed on my macbook. But, Whats an "Eboot" and a FTP server ?
EBOOT.BIN- this is what loads the game. devs have made some of these to bypass security or include some basic mods in the eboot (like cod bo2)
something.sprx- this is a mod menu
something.txt or something.key- this is a license for a paid menu.
something.ini something.cfg -config for the menu or something to allow you to customize it how you would like it to look
with mac as long as you can install and use filezilla then that would be all you need. you cant use rtm/rpc tools as those are 99% for windows.
on your ps3 go to rebug toolbox and launch it. then once it loads select system info. look for your ps3s ip. then in filezilla at the top enter that ip and you can create a connection to your ps3 that allows you to exchange files around
lets say you want to use a paid menu like serendipity for gta. you would download it then in filezilla
look for Dev_hdd0 select this
then scrool until u see tmp folder and select this.
the tmp folder is where you put most of the mods you will use. so serendipity.sprx and serendipity.txt would go in here
then go back until your outside the tmp folder and look for a "game" folder. and select that (not GAMES)
look for your game region of gta5. which should be bles so BLES01807- select it and go to USRDIR
the USRDIR is where you will put th e EBOOT.BIn so the menu loads.
recap:
dev_hdd0/tmp = serendipity.txt and serendipity.sprx
dev_hdd0/game/BLES01807/USRDIR =EBOOT.BIN
thats how to install a menu. and its similar for other games
