No you need to flash it in order to downgrade if its on OFW above 3.55.
And you can find E3 flashers on Ebay/Amazon.

As Like said you'll need an E3 Flasher to downgrade there's no way around it. Don't believe those YouTube videos that claim you can JB your PS3 with a USB and those links only contain an endless loop of surveys, nothing or worse case a virus. As for purchasing a Flasher you can use eBay or Amazon as Like also stated. Let me know if these answers are sufficient enough for you so i can close this thread.
