*i tried to switch over rebug rex 4.80 download it *and install it good after reboot RSOD come but i go again back to ferrox it fixed but * i cant mod my games offline or online*

Try to install the 3.55 999 downgrader from rogero and install it in PS3 recovery menu. Make sure you don't have a disk inside your PS3.

And also, the way it lets you mod with RTM tools is because RTM tools work with both CEX/DEX. If I am not mistaken its because of Ccapi and the modified eboot. When it comes to SPRX/GSC, you do require a DEX console. If i knew why it works like that I would, but unfortunately I don't.
