How can you think if your playing with the disc or not xD?
Disc is where you put your game disc inside your PS3 and play the game.. If you mount your game through webMan or Multiman then you don't have to play with the disc so which one is it lol?

Before you changed the files in the GTA directory, was everything working fine?
Also, which directory did you place the files in? dev_hdd0/game or dev_hdd0/GAMES(Z)

And yeah, I know the SPRX goes inside dev_hdd0/tmp

most menus are bles only. go grab your disc copy of gta5 and go in multiman and press square over gta5 now if your game cover (on the spine of the case) says BLUS31156 and multiman says BLES01807 you need to delete all BLUS data and load gta5 from your hard drive so you can launch the BLES version of GTA5 and Use any mods (mostly depending if your cex or dex) your getting that error cause you have either converted inproperly to bles or your loading from multiman but ps3 will play the game from the disc. you need BLES gta5 again to use mods
