Post: E3 Flasher

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm wondering if an E3 Flasher would work on a*CECHExx. I know it's a nand and I've read e3 flashers are only for nors, can someone confirm?

Moved to PS3 Mods Questions and Inquiries. You'll need a Teensy for a NAND at least as far as i know.

Or is there any hardware flasher for a nand model?

That's what TEENSY is. It's the E3 Flasher equivalent for NAND's.

I've briefly seen someone doing something with e3 reader to flash nand chip, which still involved a LOT of soldering..idk much more than that. Your best bet is to get a nand flasher for convenience..

An e3 flasher clip will not physically fit on the chip, let alone read the same way..

GL!

Okay if your questions have been answered to your satisfaction i'll go ahead and close this thread and you can make a new one should you run into any issues with the TEENSY.
