(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU ...
Today I got on my 4.80 Rebug CFW and ,once again, got the annoying error: 80710016 when attempting to sign in. I have my PS3 connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable connected to a laptop Windows 7 PC. This PC then connects to my Router via WiFi and its set to share its connection with the PS3. The computer always connects to the VPN server I am using. I am using a paid VPN known as "IPvanish".
This set up seems to work sometimes perfectly at times and other times it sends me the Error 80710016. I find when I disconnect from the VPN and simply connect to PSN with out having my computer connect though the VPN after getting Error 80710016, I get the 80710092 Error. I saw something on another website about possibly the IP's I am using being blacklisted, so I tried to swapping the VPN servers that I used but to no effect. When I re-wire my system directly to my router via Ethernet cord, I have no issues signing in. This problem seems to come and go, but I wonder why it does and how can I fix it with out laying low and waiting for it to work or disabling the VPN connection and getting sent offline every few hours via DDoS attacks. The reason I bothered to spend hard earned money on a VPN was to avoid being sent offline every time I try to host an XP lobby.
