You'll need to downgrade to the 3.55 OFW then update to Rebug. Obviously you don't need to keep downgrading when updating your CFW - You only need to downgrade when switching to a completely different 'brand' I guess you could say.

You downgrade if the current firmware you are on is higher than the one you are trying to install.

(I suggest using a downgrader, i don't think you can straight install 3.55 ofw from higher fw, i could be wrong though)
