I already responded to this question you asked in the CCAPI thread. Yes you can, i use it with no issues. If the Tool has CCAPI and PS3Lib.dll's in the folder replace them with the newer ones, if the tool is an .exe it'll need to be updated by the creator.

PS3Lib.dll: You must login or register to view this content.
CCAPI.dll should be in your CCAPI folder so just copy it from there.

The tool is locked to only work with 2.6 in that case. Use another tool.
