Ive been on homebrew and the version on there says i might need to reinstall my cfw and im not to sure i want to do that. Any help would be great thanks

please read my message properly i have read about that latest ccapi on homebrew and it says "i might have to reinstall my cfw and i dont want to have to reinstall my cfw is there any other way pleeease

sorry for sounding uptight ive had a jailbroken ps3 for a while and im still trying to get info on all the programs ive got installed.All the info about at the moment is hard to find or out of date

Yes to uninstall the one you have now on your PS3 just click it again and it'll say it'll uninstall it.
