What do you mean by it destroys my ps3? If anything it adds value to it since ofw systems can not do the things cfw can.
And if your still set on it simply update to the newest ofw by doing it via usb or automatically.

Go into safe mode and reinstall your CFW. Most likely one your apps you've installed or settings you toggled caused this. A reinstall of CFW should fix it. Make sure you quote me back.

reinstall CFW, clean install (format everything) is what i would do. but if you dont want to do that I would just reinstall cfw

Could Be a Bugged file in one of the pkg's. don't delete the CFW Just go into, safe mode, and format ps3. make sure you installed a CFW or could possibly delete eveything and put you on 4.80 OFW.
