As you said it can't be jailbroken so there really isn't much else that can be done with it unfortunately.

I don't know if your PS3 is downgradeable but if it is then you could buy a E3 flasher and downgrade it then jailbreak it.

But other then that there's really nothing you can do.

CECH-42xxb are the Super Slims which can't be jailbroken.

well that answers that then..now i have another ps3 that is a bit older than that one, it's a cech L01...what are my options on that one?

Is that a phat PS3? If so, yes you can jailbreak that. Also, make sure you quote me back.

You could get your cid from the super slim maybe?

since your above 4.53, i wouldn't recommend cobra ode so nothing you can really do, you can get cobra ode but its not worth it in my opinion, as you will need a blu ray burner etc

well , Cobra is the only choice
