I use GNXKS for my menu. This is about the extent of my knowledge with CFW.
So a modder on gta5 ps3 somehow signed me out of psn and now i cant sign back in with any account..it just times out. Help?

He didnt sign you out, he booted you offline, which means your internet wont work.

That's the only way he could sign you out.

He got your IP and flooded your router with packets a.k.a DDoS.

I did a connection test right after..internet was successful and psn failed. Not sure if this is redundant..but yea. Ive 'tinkered' with settings in the past..changing np environments..boot mode to release..so i just switched psid to dex1? A noobs attempt at trouble shooting. Not sure if this was the answer but sign in was successful after a soft lv2 reboot. I dunno..shootin in the dark here. Also..i appreciate you taking the time to post a response..tyvm.

Well if he said he was going to sign you out or boot you, then he definitely booted you offline.

The fix for a DDoS attack is:

---

1. Wait it out. (with router unplugged so it doesnt fry it, most likely wont but its just a precaution)

2. Unplug your router so all the lights are off for 30 seconds then plug back in. (This will only help if your IP is dynamic and your IP Changes)

Just for the Next Time You in counter Something like that Use VPN or Proxies on your System I use A Vpn So I think It helps me 👌
