(says the servers are unavailable try again later) When I insert the USB stick with PS3 > UPDATE > PS3UPDAT.PUP (3.55 DEX downgrade) one I used on my other DEX a while ago worked fine.
Now says "Update data not supported" I don't feel like going though with the whole downgrade via safe mode because last time I did that it totally ruined a console. YLOD.

Is your USB being read, plug it in and go to music section to see if USB pops up.

It shows the update being 3.55 (which it is its 3.55 DEX downgrader)

What was your problem maybe I can solve it?

You need to do it via safe mode for it to actually read it. It won't always read CFW in regular mode.

Solved problem
downgrade to 3.55 dex downgrader though 'safe mode' > after installed 3.55 bozex via xmb now fixed the issue the done what is required to change mac address then back to 4.50 ita

You need to convert to CEX then install 3.55 OtherOS, change Mac, then install regular 3.55 CFW then convert to DEX and back to ITA.
