(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, can someone please help me prevent getting a YLOD from playing ps2 games on my PS3. I'm on Rebug 4.75.3 d-Rex and I love playing ps2 games on my system and after a hour or less I get the 2 beeps and green and red light flashing, and I instantly have to turn my system of for it to cool off. Is there a way so that my system doesn't over heat? Please some helpSmile

Well to start simple your ps3 is not bombarded heavily with dust all over it is it? if so then over accumulation of dust can cause issues of over heating.

Is there a video to properly clean your system of dust... Or what's the best way to prevent dust in your system because I have mine on top of my drawer.

you can not ever fully prevent dust from accumulating period. It's like trying to never get booger's in your nose again not happening.
Just periodically dust it of outside and every great now and then internally.

If it's cause by the over accumulation of dust then yeah. If something else is the problem then no.
