I posted on ps3hax but I don't think they want to help me. I am not a game breaking modder I just like to have fun in lobbys sometimes.
Anyway, here's what I have going on.
I am running cfw Rebug 4.76 Rex for cex on my PS3.
I m running that firmware and spoofing to 4.80 because apparently there aren't any injectors that support ccapi 2.7 and cappi 2.6 isn't compatible on 4.80. So I downgraded to make it work.
I use psnpatch and ps ninja to go online.
I am using crystal v5 mod menu and some others. I haven't had a good chance to play with them yet because my game keeps freezing.
I am also using mattys gsc injector. It has some tools built into it also.
So when I load the game the injector connects and attaches like it should and it injects the gsc file and the menu works but only for a short while. I have yet to complete 1 match without my PS3 freezing on me.
Does anyone know of a fix for this? Do I need to downgrade further to make this work properly? Or perhaps there's a patch or a piece of software I can install that will make it work?
Idk if this would have anything to do with it but I'm using the disc to play the game. I didn't make a backup with mm and mount it. No one told me that was necessary so I've just been playing off the disc.

I also want to use zombieland in multiplayer matches. I'm more interested in that than I am the mod menu.
For zombieland I have the gsc files and I downloaded gsc studio to inject them. Gsc studio connects and attaches and injects the files but when I try to load a map in custom games or in an online match the PS3 will freeze a little less than half way through loading the map. I cannot even get into a game with this one. I tried using both version 15 and 16 of gsc studio and I have downloaded the files for zombie land multiple times from multiple sources but I've had no luck.
I'm fairly new to modding and I'm interested to learn how to fix these issues.

I also do not think it is my hard drive because I swapped drives once now and I reinstalled everything clean but I still have this freezing issue.
Perhaps there is a setting in the rebug toolbox I downloaded or in the cobra settings? Idk.

I figured it out. There was another thread on here and someone told me to use gsc studio to inject a compiled gsc file and drag the maps folder into the new window and hit inject. Its working perfectly now. I tried to quote you at the time i did this and i had a link but it looks like it didnt save and i no longer have the web page up to copy the link.
