(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi,

I am trying to use a TMAPI tool online so I have put a Debug EBOOT into the game folder for MW2. I tested that is booting up and the I can start the process in target manager, but thats offline. Also trying to just use the IWserver SPRX online to filter out all the modders. Just trying to get a clean game going*You must login or register to view this content.

The problem starts once i use psnpatch and try to start the game. Then it black screens. The question is you cant use psnpatch when using a debug eboot? Is it something that psnpatch disables that causes the issue? *Edit* I realized that when I do use PSN Patch in debugger the process shows but once I click the continue process in kernel explorer in target manager debuggers shows up saying sleeping. Whatever that means.

I just used psnninja to play a match online and it worked. Was that safe?

Thank you

P.S. I believe this is the right part of the forum to as this question. Accidentally posted in FORUM: PS3 QUESTIONS AND SUPPORT at first.

1. to use iw4 server sprx need a debug eboot with the sprx loader, easy to make. Next if your getting black screen its ether because 1. you have used a bad eboot, 2. your on cex, 3. you have a patch for the wrong region or 4. you have cobra enabled and used psn patch on a backed up game, that will cause a black screen, need to use a disc or an iso. i wouldn't recomend signing in without using ether sen enabler, webman or psn patch to delete calls though webman is the easiest i use both webman and psn patch followed by ps ninja because i'm paranoid but it works for me lol.

From the sounds of things though its that you have cobra and loaded a backup so psn patch caused a blackscreen, FIX. make the game an iso or disable calls via webman

In some cases PSN Patch is the reason why you go black screen why i dont know. I notice for certain games psn patch makes it go black screen. Don't use it just use PSNINJA and you will be fine

the reason for the games blackscreening is when system calls are disabled via psn patch it disables cobra/mamba and a few other things, webman can be config made to disable it but by default it does not disable the payload, simple ways around it are to use iso copy's, and disc, as for non cobra disables that only happen on console that are not set up right or if the game has a modified eboot e.g your on a standard cex firmware and try use a debug eboot it will blackscreen, or if your on say 4.50 ita some games will not work unless you put the console in release mode(with original eboot) but that has nothing to do with the calls so i'm just going off subject telling you what you already know. another cause of blackscreens is having psn games that don't have a licence, 9/10 if you don't have the licence plus a eboot fix on a psn game it will error, freeze, fail to load currently or cause issue when you disable calls or try to sign in, licencing can affect it but thats mainly with psn games not so much with disc. but again i'm off topic and you probably already know this.
